GTARC awarded $12M IDIQ for radar research

Georgia Tech Applied Research Corp., Atlanta, Georgia, was awarded an $11,982,586 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for university affiliated research center follow-up for radar related research and development. Funding and work location will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 22, 2019. One bid was solicited, with one received. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Division, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, is the contracting activity (W56KGU-14-D-0015).

The mission of the Georgia Tech Applied Research Corporation (GTARC) is to provide efficient and effective contracting, grant, and research administration services for the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI), a business segment of the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) that is focused on applied research and development.
GTRI is the largest research entity at Georgia Tech and has developed a reputation as one of the world's premier university-based applied research and development organizations. Today, GTRI has over 21 locations in the U.S. and Ireland, employs nearly 1600 highly skilled people, and conducts more than $200 million in government and industry sponsored research each year.
