SRC BSTAR Radar System |
BOS |
The FAA has and continues to conduct studies on the ability of specialized radar systems to detect birds on and around airports.
In doing so, the FAA has recently procured two BSTAR V2 bird detection radar systems. SRC Inc. is the only commercial entity capable of providing the detailed engineering support and consultation on the BSTAR V2 radar system necessary for KBOS. Furthermore, SRC Inc. is the only company that supplies the unique rugged enclosure that is required to protect the BSTAR V2 radar from harsh environmental requirements.
