Unmanned, air-based surveillance with millimeter wave SAR sensors (Synthetic Aperture Radar) combined with real-time analysis of the measured data on the ground makes an important contribution to multi-sensor data acquisition in many military and civilian applications. The possibility of real-time application is of central importance in the area of surveillance as this allows quick decisions to be made on the basis of the measured data.
