Where are you not allowed to use an Iridium Phone

The technology of Iridium gives truly global coverage, but there are countries which are blocked for coverage due to politics, and some where just having a handset, let alone using it to make a call, can get you hauled into jail as a terrorist. Customs at the port of entry don't necessarily confiscate a handset, letting the innocent tourist land in a trap. Supposedly you can get licenses from the DoT in India for example, but I haven't been able to find the procedure on line.

 Traveler beware.
